PLAY BALL!!! Join us for a behind-the-scenes hard-hat tour of the ongoing renovations and revitalization of the home of the Cleveland Guardians at the corner of Carnegie and Ontario!

And space/registration is limited, so don't delay and register now! Please also see further below for personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

DATE: Tuesday, April 16, 2024

TIME: 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm followed by an industry social hour at Southern Tier Brewing Company around the corner (811 Prospect Ave E)

LOCATION: Progressive Field - 2401 Ontario Street, Cleveland, OH 44115 

MEET BY THE TEMPORARY TEAM SHOP TENT IN THE PLAZA BETWEEN PROGRESSIVE FIELD AND ROCKET MORTGAGE FIELDHOUSE. See attached map. Plenty of public parking available nearby. And if you plan to participate in the social hour afterwards, then the surface lots on Bolivar at E 9th might be a good location for you to park.

COST: FREE, but space is limited!!!

Please join us for a guided hard-hat tour by the construction team of the ongoing renovations of Progressive Field!

Space is limited for the event, so please register as quickly as you can to ensure you have a spot!

NOTE THAT YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN PPE IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TOUR. Visitor PPE will NOT be provided. The mandatory PPE includes hard hats, high-visibility vest/apparel, eye protection (regular prescription glasses are NOT compliant), AND cut-resistant gloves. See attached handout for more information. If anyone is not dressed in the proper attire and PPE, they will not be permitted to participate in the project tour.

Please also see the attached waiver form that will need signed by all tour participants. You are welcome to print and bring a signed copy with you, but we will also have blank copies on hand for folks to sign prior to the tour.

After the tour concludes, we will walk over to Souther Tier Brewing Company (NOT the Thirsty Parrot; apparently they are closed on non-game days) around the corner for an industry social hour and cash bar for anyone who would want to join. And even if you are unable to make the project tour or registration filled up before you could sign up, please still join us afterwards at Souther Tier on Prospect!

Prohibited Conduct Policy

CMAA wishes to create a welcoming environment for events and conferences, including social events related to conferences. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves professionally. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1) harassment based on race, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any other protected status, as provided by local, state or federal law; 2) sexual harassment, including unwelcome attention, stalking and physical contact; 3) abusive conduct that has the purpose or effect of unreasonably interfering with another person's ability to enjoy or participate in the event, and 4) undue interruption of any event, speaker or session.

Any person who has been subjected to prohibited conduct or who has witnessed such conduct is encouraged to notify a CMAA staff member. CMAA reserves the right to take any action it deems appropriate in response to such conduct by any person, including removal of that person from the event, prohibiting attendance at future events, and suspension of membership.
